While celebrating the 30th birthday of M5, BMW once hinted that “a surprise was coming” but no one knew what is going to be. This has all changed as the details of the new model have been leaked and the BMW engine is getting the biggest upgrade.
With the increase of 32 hp and 14 lb-ft from standard M5, this new engine boosts up to 592 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It is claimed that all cars will come with a dual-clutch gearbox.
When it comes to the exterior, Frozen Dark Silver Metallic exterior paint gives this car killer looks, not to mention the dark chrome trim, special 20-inch wheels, and the 30th Anniversary badges.
The interior also gets the charm as Merino leather and Alcantara upholstery gives very mystique feel when combined with dark aluminium trim and celebratory badges.
Rumours are this special edition BMW model will be limited to 300 numbers which will help BMW keep its rarity. It is also believed that this M5 will make its debut at the M Festival at the Nurburgring starting from June 20-22.
