Other vehicles that made astounding sales in other regions are: 2013 VW Golf diesel in Wales, 2012 Polo petrol in South-West, 2013 Seat Leon diesel in the South and the 2014 VW Passat diesel estate in Scotland.

What about the VW diesel scandal?

The diesel gate scandal did not come to light until the 21^st of the month, so the figures presented here may not represent the whole picture but still they have made quite a difference in the used car market.
