New Evolution is now on sale with the power of 1020bhp. The ground breaking GT-R and Can-Am sales are likely to be affected with the launch of GM-sourced V8 engine powered Evolution. Ultima is offering the Evolution in its most powerful form, it is available in both Coupe and Convertible types. It is actually replacing the both GT-R and Can-Am models. It is already on sale in UK, but the deliveries are expected in September.
While keeping the LeMans inspired styling, Ultima says that the evolution will get the new LED lights, lightweight forged alloys and the modern infotainment system with satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
Chevrolet V8 LS engine is powering the new Evolution. It is a very flexible engine with power ranging from 350bhp to 1020bhp. In total, this engine offers fifteen different power variations. The most extreme power generator weighing only 950kg and produce 1020bhp.
It is a 6.8-litre supercharged V8 engine which has the capacity to push the Evolution from zero to 62 miles per hour in only 2.3 seconds and crosses the 100mph mark in just 4.9 seconds. Top speed of Ultima Evolution is recorded at 240mph, the entire mountain of power is routed through a six-speed manual gearbox to the wheels.
The British automaker said that the new model will take the Ultima to the new levels of success. It will return the greater and refined performance with excellent finish and fit. It is an exclusively redesigned and modernised car in all aspects if you compare it to the previous GT-R and Can-Am and will make it an awesome package.
Ultima officials further said, “Many of the enhancements found on the new Ultima Evolution have been stimulated by worldwide customer demand and feedback.”
The price for factory built vehicle starts from £65,995. It would be different if you ask for some modifications and customisations.
