The dedication of Dubai Police towards the security of their valuable tourists and precious heritage is evident from the efforts put in; the latest addition is the Can Am Spyder superbike.
Perhaps the Dubai Police Squad is the one and only having most expensive and state-of-the-art supercars in their fleet. Not only it shows their dedication towards crime prevention but it also serves as a sign of pomp n pride of Dubai. Now for the first time ever, a superbike, Can-Am-Spyder with powerful engine, has been added to already enviable super fleet.
This superbike was officially handed over to the department on Monday in the presence of some of highly valued personalities of Dubai such as Dubai Police Chief, Maj Gen Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Director of the Transport and Rescue Department, Brigadier Anas Al Matroushi, and Assistant to the Police Chief for Community Services and Preparations, Maj Gen Abdul Rahman Mohammad Rafei.
According to the Maj Gen Al Mazeina, this superbike is primarily intended to be used in invaluable heritage and tourist areas for the security petrol but it also is fully capable of regular day-to-day police work.
He also added that they always seek excellence in what they do, and having whole bunch of supercars (like the limited edition of Aston Martin One-77, an Audi R8, the Bentley Continental GT, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe, the mighty Brabus G63 AMG, a Bugatti Veyron, the Chevrolet Camaro SS, the Ferrari FF, and the American Muscle Ford Mustang GT, then is the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, McLaren MP4-12C, a Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, and but not the least, Nissan GT-R) and the lucky officers will use Supercars and Google Glass to ensure the security in the tourists areas.
You would be amazed to know that Dubai Police Department has its own superboat which is 10-metre long and was built by the Victory Team.
This whole fleet is the part of Dubai Polices’ Transport and Rescue Department.
