For the 2014 models RAM has introduced an optional 6.4 litre V8 engine which is, although, standard on the Power Wagon. This engine packs 410 horses that generate 429 pound per feet of torque, and to match the rage of this outrageous engine, a stout six-speed automatic gearbox is there. As a standard comes, electronically locking front and rear differentials, 11.5 inch rear axle and 4.10 gearing.
For a luxurious ride a newly developed five-link coil rear suspension and Bilstein monotube shocks are used. When it comes to the off-road ability of Power Wagon, it is harmonised by the recently designed Articulink system used on the front suspension offering an electric sway-bar disconnect. RAM has used 33 inch Goodyear rubber as standard on this monster.
When you look at the stats of this gigantic hauler, they are pretty impressive themselves; it is now capable of heaving 10,810 pounds. The ground clearance of 14.5 inches makes it easy to clear out few of the obstacles and about 30 inches of standing water. So going in the woods now will not be bothersome as it was before this big, evil truck.
