Today’s modern age has made everything mobile, the use of smartphones has made our lives much easier but the only problem, that still needs attention, is how to charge the batteries of the mobile devices. Many concepts and theories have been presented like John Galt showed how to generate electricity from the air but that was not applicable to the smartphones or other similar devices or to start an engine with a dead battery.
Yet another effort has been made and outcome is the “Jumpr”, made by Juno Power, a charger that will make charging smartphones, other portable electronic devices and even car batteries much easier and efficient. The first working prototype has been tested and put to display in a sky blue case which has a 6,000 mAh battery, good enough to boost a 12-volt at 300 amps.
The company is claiming that it will be powerful enough “to jumpstart almost all four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines,” but with those tender cables, 300 amps will run safely, we have doubts. What the product page says about the Jumpr is “capable of jumping a completely dead car battery in minutes.”, it might be interpreted as ‘charging’ rather than ‘jumpstart’ because it will most probably send a series of quick, restorative hops of electricity rather than sending the whole 300 amps all at once to jumpstart.
Either way, it still is a useful thing going on sale on May 1 and costs only £41.63
