After the unfortunate skiing accident back in December 2013, Michael Schumacher went in coma for more than 6 months, and when he gained consciousness, hospital administration released him from the hospital and transferred him to Lausanne University hospital Switzerland for rehab. Where his medical progress was slow but continuously positive, meanwhile his medical records were stolen from hospital and were allegedly put on sale over the internet by some unknown felon. The hospital authorities said about the scene that they are actively looking for any leads.
After a long time a good news has arrived from his manager at last.
According to BBC News, the Lausanne University hospital in Switzerland has decided to discharge the seven time winner of F1 championship. He will be transferred to his home near Lake Geneva.
In this regard, Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm has given an interview to an auto journalist and said: “Henceforth, Michael’s rehabilitation will take place at his home. Considering the severe injuries he suffered, progress has been made in the past weeks and months. There is still, however, a long and difficult road ahead. We would like to extend our gratitude to the entire team at CHUV Lausanne for their thorough and competent work. We ask that the privacy of Michael’s family continue to be respected, and that speculations about his state of health are avoided.”
