Volkswagen has announced that they are offering free check-up for their commercial vehicles to check if they are ready for the winter season. It will be a 20-point check involving wiper checking, battery health, lights and electrical system, tyre checking and many others along with some handful findings and suggestions and visual checks for the drivers of Caddy, Crafter and Transporter vans.
A survey revealed that more than 30% drivers in the UK do not do anything for the winter or prepare their vehicle for the winter. They believe that winterization is covered by insurance providers, but the truth is that winter callouts are much higher than those in summer.
Head of service and parts at Volkswagen Vehicles UK said that they are ensuring that your vehicles are 100% fit and safe for the winter season. It is very crucial to prevent the accidents throughout the winter, but chances will rise high if your vehicle is fit to face winter.
Services and Parts boss said, “We are providing these free checks as a preventative measure as minimising downtime is crucial for our customers.” This free van health check is available at all Volkswagen van engines and parts service centres till 28th February 2015.
