One of the best sports cars from Japanese automaker Nissan, has been showcased at the New York Motor Show. It is a Nissan GT-R sports car that gets more powerful engine and styling features to appeal the buyers from 2017.
The 2017 GT-R has been Facelifted with new styling features and upgraded cabin to appeal its audiences but it has a new and even powerful V6 Nissan engine for sale as well to appeal the true pace lovers.
Although it has been shown on the NY Auto Show but it will be available in the UK by next year.
The improved GT-R features a new version of Nissan’s ‘V-motion’ front grille, along with a new bumper design and strengthened bonnet, said to give the car more down force. The metallic orange paint scheme used on the model is also new.
In order to improve the airflow to the engine, the sills have been widened and it as a quad exhaust pipe system. These changes offer the GT-R more dynamically efficient body and help the car to remain safe and stable on high speed as well.
However, the GT-R keeps the same engine which was 3.8-litre twin turbo charged engine but the power delivery has been boosted to 565bhp from previously produced of 540bhp at 6800 rpm. The torque is also very strong with 470 lb-ft. all this power transferred over the wheels through a six speed dual clutch transmission.
Nissan itself believes that the GT-R never sounded better but this time, the all new model has titanium exhausts and Active Sound Enhancement system to amplify the sound. Nissan also presented an adaptive cylinder shut-off system to the GT-R.
