According to a survey, Britain is the most horrible country in the world for road wrath, anger and rage issues. The survey also revealed that UK roads are also famous for destructive driving more than any other nation in the world.
According to the research published by LeasePlan UK, people face more angry gestures, verbal aggression and are blocked off by other drivers on the UK roads more than any other roads in the world. UK also rated highest in the research conducted on 20 major countries in three different categories of angry gestures, verbal aggression and being blocked off by other drivers.
UK tops the research table with 76% on angry gestures, followed by France and Czech Republic. Actually top ten rage road countries are from Europe and all of these 10 countries have aggressive and rude driving behaviours.
There are only three countries outside Europe India, Australia and USA. This survey also shows that there are the majority of drivers guilty of driving after being convicted of several offences such as drinking, eating and sleeping behind the wheel. However, there are a big number of drivers found guilty for using phones behind the wheel.
Managing director of the research firm, LeasePlan UK, Dr Matt Dyer has explained the reason behind these attitudes on the road is because of road conditions and these behaviours can be changed by improving the road networks.
