The past few months have been pretty exciting as we have seen some special edition models such as the 30th Anniversary BMW M5 and the Horse Edition models especially made for China. We all know Bang & Olufsen for their wonderful state-of-the-art music systems, but this time they have collaborated with German car maker and introduced brand new limited-run editions of M6 Gran Coupe and 6 Series Gran Coupe.
As of now the details are really limited so we cannot say much about it, but what we do know is that there will be only 110 special cars in each range which will be fully customised and wearing exclusive Bang & Olufsen details and specialised hardware.
Based on what little details are available, one could tell that the interior would be a two-tone, all dressed up in fine-grain Merino leather, and finished in Opal White and Black, above that is the Alcantara headliner in Anthracite Black Piano dash trims. This special edition will only be available in Sophisto Grey Metallic colour.
What makes these cars unique is the claim from Bang & Olufsen which states that more than 400 man hours have been spent by the acousticians in perfecting the sound in every single one of the 16 loudspeakers fitted in these cars to achieve the sound for which Bang & Olufsen is famous for.
The customers will most probably be getting a set of BeoPlay H6 headphones that costs £323 and Bang & Olufsen signets going all around their precious car.
One of these limited-run models in 6-Series would cost you £59,491 and if you opt for BMW M6, then it would not be less than £71,389.
