The all new Audi A4 has been captured by spy photographers for the very first time. The pictures reveal that the all new A4 wears the styling costume very similar to Audi TT. We have been waiting for the new Audi A4 for a long time and it will likely to make its debut in autumn 2015.
Audi is making the new A4 more stylish just as its parent company VW is making the latest Golf more stylish. It has sharp design looks and mechanical infrastructure to revolutionise the driving experience. It is based on one of the best platforms offered by the group, but it doesn’t use the MQB Platform and chassis support.
It uses the MLB platform and you will also see it in several Volkswagen models and Porsche 4×4 or larger versions. MLB Platform is especially designed for weight saving purposes and it maintains the stiffness even with the reduced structure thickness. With the help of this all new MLB platform Audi A4 has reduced 100kg weight and has beaten the latest BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in terms of weight.
It is expected to use the 2.0 Litre Audi A4 engine which will weigh around 1,400 kg which is still 40kg lower than a Jaguar XE. A noticeable decrease in weight will help the A4 to save fuel and run on ultra-environmental friendly modes. Jaguar has claimed that its most economical model gives 75mpg and 99g/km, however the previous A4 claimed 67.3mpg with 112g/km and new one will definitely beat the Jag’s most frugal XE.
The all new Audi A4 has a luxurious cockpit with a 12.3-inch digital display acquired from the TT Coupe. It is expected that Audi A4 will make its debut at the next Frankfurt Motor Show.
